On Saturday May 2 at 1443 hours Truck 12 was dispatched as the second-due truck to the 5100 block of Annapolis Rd for a reported house fire in Company 9’s area. While enroute, communications advised multiple callers reporting both a house and church on fire. First arriving companies found smoke showing from the two story single family house with an attached church and started the working fire dispatch. Upon arrival, Truck 12’s interior crew assisted engine companies with opening up, while the outside crew laddered the structure and removed siding to expose hidden fire before making entry and joining interior operations. Due to the size of the incident, a fire task force was requested for additional resources. C12A operated in the command post with Battalion Chief 884. Truck 12 operated for 3 hours before returning to service.
