Shortly before 1130 hours on Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 Engine 122 was alerted as the second due engine to the 9300 blk. of 51st Ave. in Co. 11’s area for a report of a house on fire. First arriving units found fire showing from the rear of a single-family dwelling. E122 arrived moments later, secured a water supply for the first due engine, stretched a backup line, and assisted with extinguishing fire on the first floor and in the attic area. The engine company operated for approximately two hours before returning to service.
